HandyMangum Facility Solutions is our commercial department. It serves property managers, HOAs and condo associations, medical and therapy clinics, retail and restaurant locations, and multi-site businesses. Many of these clients first call us for a single repair. Your job is to turn those one-off calls into monthly or quarterly service agreements and to win new accounts across Central Florida. You own the full sales cycle: prospecting, site walks, scoping with our operations team, proposals, closing, and growing each account after it starts.

What you will sell

Responsibilities

• Turn repeat commercial callers into recurring monthly or quarterly service agreements.
• Prospect and build relationships with property managers, community association managers, facility and practice managers, and regional managers of multi-site businesses.
• Lead site walks, document conditions, and work with operations to build accurate scopes and maintenance plans.
• Prepare and present proposals and service agreements, negotiate terms and close.
• Hand new accounts to scheduling and the field team smoothly, then check in regularly to keep and grow the work.
• Handle vendor onboarding: compliance packets, W-9s, certificates of insurance and vendor-portal registrations.
• Represent HandyMangum at industry events such as IFMA, BOMA, CAI and IREM chapter meetings.
• Keep activity, pipeline and forecasts current, and meet monthly goals for new agreements and revenue.

What we are looking for

• Experience in B2B outside sales or business development, ideally in facility services, property maintenance, janitorial, trade service, commercial construction or vendor sales to property managers.
• A track record of finding and closing new business, not only working leads someone else provided.
• Experience selling recurring or contract-based services is a strong plus.
• Working knowledge of building maintenance and repairs, or the ability to learn it quickly.
• Relationships with Central Florida property managers, community associations or facility decision-makers are a plus.
• Clear writing and speaking, organization and follow-through; comfortable with a CRM, email and proposal tools.
• A valid driver's license, an insured, reliable vehicle, and the ability to travel throughout Central Florida.

Pay

• $50K–$60K base salary plus commission; target first-year earnings (OTE) $85K–$110K

We are adding a sales representative to grow our restoration work: repairs after water, storm and fire damage to homes and commercial properties. You will build referral relationships with insurance adjusters, insurance agents, property managers, HOA and condo managers, and plumbers, so that when a loss happens, HandyMangum is the contractor they trust to recommend. You will guide each job from first contact through scope, signed authorization and handoff to production, and stay involved until the job is closed out.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a referral network of independent and staff adjusters, insurance agents, property and community association managers, plumbers and other trade partners.
• Meet regularly with referral partners through lunch-and-learns, office visits and association events, and log every contact.
• Respond to new losses: meet property owners or managers on site, document damage with photos and notes, and coordinate with our estimating team.
• Explain our process and next steps to property owners clearly and accurately, then secure signed work authorizations.
• Work with estimating, production and accounting to keep jobs moving and documentation complete.
• Track your pipeline from first notice of loss to job closeout, and report weekly on activity and results.
• Represent HandyMangum at claims, CAI, BOMA and IREM events.

Scope limits of this role

• This is a contractor sales role, not a claims-adjusting role. Representatives do not interpret policy coverage, negotiate claims for the insured, or act as a public adjuster.
• We do not offer or accept gifts, rebates, referral fees or other inducements tied to insurance claims or referrals.
• We do not use high-pressure or door-to-door storm-chasing tactics.

What we are looking for

• Experience in business development for a restoration or mitigation company, as an independent or staff adjuster, or in storm or roofing sales.
• A network among Central Florida adjusters, agents, property managers or plumbers is a strong plus.
• Understanding of the property-insurance claim process and the documentation a contractor needs.
• Familiarity with Xactimate or a similar estimating platform, and IICRC training, are a plus.
• Professional, honest communication with property owners in stressful situations.
• Organized and self-directed; comfortable working a CRM.
• A valid driver's license and an insured, reliable vehicle.

Pay

• $45K–$55K base salary plus commission, paid as insurance draws are collected; target first-year earnings (OTE) $80K–$110K

On a typical day you may hang a door, patch and paint drywall, replace fixtures and work through a make-ready list. You represent HandyMangum in customers' homes and businesses, so quality work and professional conduct matter as much as technical skill.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and repair lists accurately, safely and on schedule.
• Drywall repair and texture matching, interior and exterior painting and touch-up, and trim and carpentry repairs.
• Install and repair doors, locks and hardware, fixtures, blinds, shelving and accessories.
• Support make-ready and unit-turn work, exterior and common-area maintenance, and preventive maintenance visits.
• Photograph each job before and after, write clear notes, and flag any other repairs you notice.
• Communicate professionally with customers and on-site contacts, keep work areas clean, and protect client property.
• Keep tools and inventory organized and stocked.

What we are looking for

• Professional handyman, property maintenance, apartment or facility maintenance, or similar multi-trade experience.
• Solid skills in drywall, paint, carpentry, and door and hardware work.
• Ability to diagnose problems and work independently, and to know when to ask.
• Your own basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to use ladders safely and do physical work indoors and outdoors in Florida weather, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• A professional, customer-friendly attitude and reliable attendance.
• A valid driver's license. Every HandyMangum technician passes a full background check.
• EPA RRP lead-safe training or OSHA 10 is a plus.

Pay

• $20–$28 per hour based on experience; lead technicians up to $32 per hour

We are looking for an experienced painter who takes pride in clean, consistent finishes. You will handle interior and exterior painting for homeowners and business clients across Central Florida: occupied homes, offices, medical and retail spaces, apartment and condo common areas, and make-ready units. Many jobs are in occupied spaces, so careful prep, protection and cleanup are a core part of the work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces: clean, scrape, sand, patch, caulk, prime and mask, and protect floors, furniture and fixtures.
• Apply paint and coatings by brush, roller and sprayer to walls, ceilings, trim, doors and exterior surfaces.
• Patch drywall and match texture ahead of paint.
• Paint exteriors, common areas, stairwells and breezeways, and complete make-ready repaints.
• Follow safe ladder practices and lead-safe work practices where required.
• Keep job sites clean and organized, and clean and maintain equipment.
• Photograph your work, write notes, and communicate professionally with customers and site contacts.

What we are looking for

• Professional painting experience, residential, commercial or both.
• Strong prep skills and a consistent, high-quality finish with brush, roller and airless sprayer.
• Ability to work on your own or in a small crew, and to read a scope of work.
• Ability to use ladders safely and work outdoors in Florida weather, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Reliable attendance and a professional, respectful manner with customers.
