Referrals · Family caregivers
Occupational therapists, home health teams, care managers and family caregivers can send HandyMangum the client's address, a contact for scheduling and any recommendations. We install grab bars, shower seats, handheld showers, raised toilet seats, rails, threshold ramps and other safety changes to those recommendations, or following ADA guidelines when there are none, and send a written quote to whoever is deciding. Call or text (407) 699-1123, or email services@handymangum.com.

Yes. We can coordinate by phone, text and email, meet a neighbor or caregiver for access, and send photos when the job is done.
We are installers, not therapists. During a free estimate visit we will point out obvious hazards and suggest fixes, but for a clinical assessment, ask an occupational therapist; we are happy to work from their report.
Yes, if it is rated for the job, for example a real grab bar rather than a suction-cup handle.
Whoever the client names as the decision-maker. We can copy the referring professional if they agree.
We cannot promise that any plan will pay, so please check before the work starts. Original Medicare generally does not pay for grab bars, bath seats, raised toilet seats or home changes like these; CMS treats them as convenience items rather than durable medical equipment. Some Medicare Advantage plans, Medicaid waiver programs and veterans' programs do help with home modifications, so ask your plan directly. We give you a written, itemized quote and invoice you can share with them.
Call or text (407) 699-1123, email services@handymangum.com, or send the online request. Estimates are free on every job.
